Design & Styling: The Suzuki GSXR 600 gets the same fully-faired body design that is inspired by its bigger siblings. At the front, It gets the signature Suzuki headlamp and the front turn indicators are mounted on the rearview mirrors. Unlike other supersport in this class that features razor-sharp design, the GSX-R600 comes with a round off design that makes it stand out. It looks elegant, especially the anniversary edition variant.
Engine & Performance: It is powered by a 599cc inline-4 cylinder, DOHC engine. The Suzuki GSX-R600 produces 124 HP of maximum power and 69.6 Nm of peak torque. It uses the Suzuki dual throttle valve fuel-injection technology that ensures smooth power delivery. The engine is mated to a close-ratio 6-speed gearbox and it also gets back-torque limiting clutch that helps in smoother downshifts. It also gets the drive mode selector that offers two racing developed engine control maps.
Frame, Suspension & Brakes: It is based on a twin-spar aluminium alloy frame derived from Suzuki GSX-R750. At the front, it gets a Showa big piston USD front forks and at the rear, it gets a Showa mono-shock with externally adjustable rebound and compression damping. It is also equipped with an electronically controlled steering damper. The Suzuki GSX-R600 comes fitted with dual 310mm Brembo 4-Piston Monobloc callipers disc brakes at the front wheel and a single 220mm Nissin 1-Piston calliper disc brake at the rear wheel.
Dimensions & Wheels: Suzuki GSX-R600 kerb weight is only 187 kg making it one of the lightest 600cc bike out there. Its seat height is 810 mm and its fuel tank capacity is 17 litres. It comes with 17-inch three-spoke cast aluminium wheels at both the ends. It runs on 120/70 ZR17 tyres up front and 180/55 ZR17 rear tyre.
